It's Been A Slow Week

The Brewhouse Cafe has made a tentative offer to Lebowski Ent.

Watching the Detectives

Went to see Elvis Costello last night at the Tabernacle.
What a show.
Again Mr. Costello has rocked my face.
Friday night The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are playing at the Masquerade.
For a long time The Bosstones were my number one live show to see.
Everyone got so into the shows. People would get up and sing and dance with the band.
Good times.
It should be fun seeing them in a small venue again.
Last time I saw them play was this summer at the Vans Warped tour.
I had no idea they were even on the bill.
I think I recognized maybe three songs.

I really want to hate the Internet.

Grizzly Adams

I have decided to grow a beard.
Actually I decided to stop shaving and the beard thing just kind of happened.
I don't want it to seem like I'm jumping on a facial hair bandwagon.
I've never had any facial hair aside from sideburns and a short lived soulpatch.
Tonight the shaping process will take place. That or I'll just shave the whole thing off.

Friday night a bunch of us went to Netherworld Haunted house and then to see Jackass.
The haunted house was fun but would have been better if we had begun drinking earlier.
Jackass was a great film.
I don't think the people in the thearter really appreciated the movie like we did.
Never tell 6 drunks to be quiet during a skate movie.

I may or may not be attending the Star Bar on Halloween.
Greasepaint will put on a great show but I hear they are getting a midget.

I landed a part time job at the Vortex, which is fine and dandy because I found out there is a 16 week hiring process with the GCPD.

Well I'm back.
I must say Richmond rocked.
It's a really cool city.
Nothing exciting happened. I got to spend a week with Rachel, drank some beers, saw the sights. Nothing really exciting. I enjoyed my self.
She will be very happy.
As for the two days we spent in the nations capital.........wow.
You see I had never been to DC.
Strange as it may seem when I was a kid my family went to PC Beach. We never took the "dorky" vacations. I hated my folks for that. I like history and old stuff like that.
Anyway......DC blew me away!
Seeing all that stuff for the first time......amazing!
The Jefferson memorial was the best one.
The Vietnam memorial was very...ummm...I don't want to say depressing, but immense, in an emotional way.
The coolest part was we saw them all at night. Kinda added to the awe of it all, seeing them all lit up like that.

Oh, and if you ever do go to Richmond, stop by The Hole in the Wall.
Best bar in town.

While I was there I almost bought every Chuck Palahniuk book in Borders. Stupid lack of funds.

Goodbye Rachel

In a few short hours I will be on the road to Richmond Va.
Rachel is leaving us.
I'm driving with her and we're going to spend the week up there.

Oh well.
Went to Suzies after work to see her new condo. Not bad, not bad at all. I can't see buying an apartment myself but it takes all kinds. I sat on her porch with Keith, Noel, Schweck, and J. Just the guys. It was a nice night. Me, Keith, and Noel talked about the old highschool days. That's fun to do every once and a while.....but not too often. After that I went over to the woman's house. Not sure how that's going. We jumped into it pretty fast and I think she is looking for allot more than I have to offer right now. I'm just not sure I'm ready for the whole "girlfriend/boyfriend" thing right now. Time will tell.

Wow.....My intrest in this didn't last long at all.

So this is what it's all about. I've joined the masses. I have a Blog now.

You're not going to discover anything about me in the first few posts. Simply because i'm no so sure how I feel about all this.
I will tell you however, I have a date tonight. A lady I really like. A true southern belle. We'll see how it and this goes.
